Actor David Carradine was an American film actor who died recently while filming a movie in Bangkok. He was born in December 1936 and is best known for his work on the 1970s television series Kung Fu. He was found dead in his hotel room while he was in Bangkok filming the movie Stretch. While his death is somewhat of a mystery, there are various theories surrounding it. What is certain is that he will be missed greatly by his family, peers and fans. The cast and crew who were staying in the 5 star hotels Thailand noticed he didn’t show up for dinner and assumed he was tired and needed rest.

In the 1070s Carradine rose to fame for his work in the series Kung Fu. The series followed the life of a Shaolin Monk, Kwai Chang Caine and his adventures in the American Old West. His character was a master of martial arts and would encounter many struggles and prejudice as he went about his life. The episodes would frequently show moments that went back in time to his life as a student. The lessons he was learning would manifest into the circumstances he was facing in the present. Due to his status as a priest, he would often feel the need to become involved in various social injustice issues. Throughout the series he was on a search for his missing half brother, Danny Caine.

Carradine also had a successful film career, winning awards and critical acclaim for his role Woody Guthrie in the film Bound For Glory. He was also in the Ingmar Bergman film The Serpent’s Egg. He appeared in various television miniseries and worked regularly throughout his life. Most recently he gained renewed public interest for his work Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill film series. In total he worked in more than 100 feature length films.
