A trip to Las Vegas is something that most people want to experience in their life. They may not be gamblers or particularly fond of showgirls, but there is so much more to see and do in Vegas than the casinos and stages. Visitors can spend their entire trip on the famous Vegas Strip or they can venture out into the surrounding city and region. Either way, they will return home with one of a kind memories that they can cherish for the rest of their life.

Las Vegas is famous for its showcase hotels and resorts. Walking up and down the Strip, visitors are treated to a variety of architectures, features, and even free entertainment. Each resort has its own internal attractions to keep guest busy. For example the mgm hotel las vegas has a lion habitat while the Bellagio has stunning fountains. Every hotel has amazing restaurants and shows as well as a casino.

The city has more to offer than just casinos. It’s much better for tourists to treat the planet hollywood las vegas like any other hotel in any other city. It’s a place to sleep and eat while they spend the rest of their time exploring the city. Vegas has standard museums as well as special ones like the neon museum. It has a zoo, parks, a botanical garden and the largest indoor amusement park in the world. Visitors can go outside the city to visit Hoover Dam and Lake Mead or take a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. At night there are plenty of shows to see as well as the the Freemont Street experience and walking along the Strip which is completely different at night than in the daylight.

Taking on th Big Apple is something that lots of people dream about doing. Whether they are fictional characters from a television show like Glee or flesh and blood people like you and your friends. As you plan your trip to NYC, you’ll want to make a list of all the sights and attractions you want to see — and then be prepared to narrow that list down to fit the actual time constraints and budget of your trip.

If you’re a first time visitor to NYC, there are certain landmarks that you probably want to see right away. Times Square, Central Park, Ground Zero, and the Statue of Liberty are probably high on that list. Art lovers will have lists of galleries and museums like the MOMA and the Whitney Museum. History buffs could spend weeks trekking from museums to historic neighborhoods to birthplaces of famous residents. Families will want to take in zoos, parks, and special attractions like the science museum, the New York Public Library and, of course, the flagship FAO Schwartz store.

Many of the city’s landmarks are famous example of architecture, such as the Chrysler and Empire State buildings. The city is also home to the historic brownstones of Brooklyn, the United Nations Building and Rockefeller Center. More modern architecture is displayed in the Time Warner Center and the Hearst Tower .

Of course, if you are determined to see as much of the city as you possibly can in one visit, you should probably look into obtaining a New York City Pass or similar program. These cards grant you accelerated admission to all the top attractions in the city at a discounted rate.

There’s one element of planning for travel that is often overlooked. That is visitors insurance . Most people are so caught up in planning all the amazing things they will see and do while traveling abroad that they don’t stop to think about the risks associated with those activities. The result is they find themselves with a broken arm or leg in a country where they don’t speak the language.

Purchasing visitors medical insurance is the best way to avoid that situation. With a little bit of research it’s easy to find the right policy for individuals and families who are heading overseas for work, school, or pleasure. There are even policies available for immigrants and missionaries.

The most important factor in choosing the right type of insurance is the type of travel being planned. Students have different needs than someone on a world cruise. Length of stay, number of countries visited, and even the primary purpose of the trip are taken into consideration when insurance companies design policies.

Next travelers need to list any preexisting conditions, which range from things like diabetes to pregnancy, that may need treatment during the trip. It’s also a good idea to make a list of all prescriptions that will be needed, this includes eyeglasses and hearing aids.

Lastly, investigate the insurance company itself. Make sure it offers high quality customer service and is available from different time zones and languages. Check that they are a reputable company with experience servicing international clients.

Singapore boasts the first nocturnal zoo in the world. Night Safari is one of the most popular destinations in all of Singapore. Located next to the Singapore Zoo, it opened in 1994 and provides a secondary rainforest home to 120 different species, nearly a third of which are designated as threatened.

Over a million visitors walk the through the Safari gates each year, calling people from their homes and comfy hotels in Singapore to observe over 1000 animals at night. There are three walking trails as well as a tram to tour the zoo’s 59 major exhibits. This tropical forest is divided into eight geographic zones and has a special lighting system that resembles moonlight and allows visitors to see without disturbing the behavior of crepuscular and nocturnal animals.

The zoo features animals from South America as well as different parts of Asia. Animals are contained by natural barriers such as cattle grids and moats, rather than cages. The zoo has earned the award as Best Visitor Attraction Experience from the Singapore Tourism Board eight times, emphasizing just how rewarding and exciting the Safari is.

One of the small city-communities that make up the greater Boston metropolis is Somerville. Although it is a separate political entity, it really is part of the larger fabric that forms Bostonian social and cultural life. Residents work, shop and play throughout the metropolitan area and visitors to Boston hotels are just as likely to find themselves having dinner in Somerville or attending the city’s third Riverfest on September 25th.

Somerville is developing Assembly Row and Assembly Square as a SmartGrowth development which, when complete, will encompass not only office space, restaurants, and shopping, but also open spaces and public parks to be enjoyed by all. Riverfest celebrates the progress made towards this growing center of social, work, and daily life for the area. It features food and family activities as well as performances and music for all to enjoy. All proceeds from food sales will be donated to the Arthur D. Healy School’s PTA to encourage education and development of future generations of residents. The event begins at 4pm at Assembly Square with an amazing 30 minute fireworks display along the Mystic River scheduled for 7:45pm. In case of rain, the event will be held on September 26th.

Texas is a big state. In fact it’s huge. And most things in Texas are either huge themselves, or they’re eaten. Okay, that’s a slight exaggeration. But it’s the only slight thing about the great state of Texas. And one of the things that is huge in Texas is also extremely popular in Dallas. This is the fine art of barbecue. Texans love their barbecue and the ones that live in Dallas claim to have some of the best barbecue in the country, or for that matter the world.

Great barbecue in Dallas can be found in the most unlikely places, and while everyone has their personal taste and preference, there are some standard venues that are agreed to have great food. And for the guests in a hotel Dallas , these are great choices. Sammy’s Barbecue in uptown has solid portions and great sides. It’s a great place for the hearty appetite and it’s not short on flavor.

Meanwhile, if you’re downtown Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse is a popular favorite. It’s been in existence since 1910 and continues to serve some of the best sauce in the city. Sonny’s is also known for its large portions. And while you’re downtown be sure to check out Dick’s Last Resort, which is known as much for its lively atmosphere as it is for its ribs and Baker’s Ribs , which continues to enjoy a solid reputation.

The Greek Island of Corfu has played an important role in the country’s history and its significance to Greek culture dates back to the ancient period. It has had role in major political struggles and various battles. And while it has seen its share of turmoil and struggle, the island today is most reminiscent of its romantic mythological stories that were based their in ancient times. And while accessing the island in historic periods may have been more difficult and primarily used for political purposes, today there are numerous ferries and an airport that transports tourists to and from the island on a daily basis.

Guests in one of the beautiful beach Corfu hotels have some of the most spectacular views of the Ionian Sea . Though for many of them their luxury accommodations are not the first chance at a great view they’ve had. Most of the ferry trips to and from the island include gorgeous views and are themselves a favorite aspect of the trip. There are some traditional ferry services as well as specialized high tech hydrodynamic airflows that allow for high speed ferry service. These are typically called the flying dolphin ferries. Regardless of the ferry that transports guests to the island, many claim its like passing through time and feel they enter the mythological paradise that enchanted the gods of ancient times.

Many of the traditional holidays that are celebrated in Mexico are also recognized as important cultural traditions in the United States. Dia de los Muertos, interpreted as Day of the Dead, is a perfect example of this. It is an extremely symbolic and important holiday in Mexico and it is celebrated by Mexican Americans living in the United States, as well as residents from other ethnic backgrounds. And in addition to the specific rituals that occur in association to the holiday there is an entire genre of art that is dedicated to it and the art is appreciated by people from all over the world.

Day of the Dead officially takes place on November 2nd of every year and coincides with the Catholic holidays All Saints Day and All Souls Day , which take place on the first and second of the month respectively. This is a day of honoring and families get together to pay their respects to loved ones who have passed on. This includes bringing gifts, ones that would be appreciated by the ancestors if they were alive, such as food, beverages and flowers. The Grateful Dead , an American rock band that formed in the 1960s is partially credited with popularizing the holiday in America and introducing the art genre associated with it. Many of the five star Mexico hotels will have special events and parties planned for their guests in celebration of this holiday.

Sydney is famous for its beach-side suburbs, which include Bondi, Manly and Cronulla. During the summer months, these beaches a jammed packed with swimmers enjoying the sandy beaches and soaking up the sunrays. Just like Los Angeles and Rio de Janeiro, Sydney is just as unique in that it’s a huge metropolis surrounded by beautiful beaches making it an excellent vacation destination.

Sydney is also a great destination point for tourist because it’s so convenient to get around. Sydney’s trains, buses and ferries make for a perfect combination of getting from one place to the next. Rental cars should only be considered if driving out of Sydney to see the other wonderful places Australia has such as Melbourne or the nearby Blue Mountains. However, within Sydney itself, public transportation is actually faster than driving. With Sydney’s integrated ticketing system that permits travel across trains, buses and ferries, locals and especially tourist find this mode of transportation to be the best way to get from their Sydney hotels to an attraction or to the beaches.

The best trip visitors can take while in Sydney is to take the ferry to Manly, which offers a great view of the Sydney skyline and Sydney’s beautiful harbor. A Ferry will take only a half-an-hour to travel from Circular Quay to Manly. It’s a refreshing way to see Sydney. In order to catch the Manly Ferry, head to the terminal at Circular Quay, it’s easy to find, right in between the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge .
