Getting Off Campus While Staying Near College
July 20, 2010 8:10 pm EducationStudents going to college for the first time usually know that they are going to be staying in the dorms. For the first couple of years this usually seems like a good plan, but after a while they usually want their own space. There are a few little known tricks to finding the right place to stay near the college.
If looking at using a property management service like Transglobe Property Management Services find one that has many properties near your college and specializes in taking care of student needs. If the students are in Arizona for example, they may want a company that has a number of places around the main ASU campus — or whatever other college they are attending. If they are near Canada, they may want to try a company like Transglobe Property Management Services which has a website just for student needs.
One thing they will want to think about is if they are going to stay there over the summer. Often by the time students are in their junior year they have a friend or two who has a place in the city. They can sometimes stay there for a little bit and get their bearings over the summer while they find a place for themselves and any roommates to move into by the school year.
